Yoshi and Mario, can't get any better than this!
Just like all the other Mario Platformers, Yoshi's Island wasn't specifically made for the GameBoy Advance. This game already existed for the Super NES. But you won't hear me complaining. This, to me, is the best platform game ever created. Super fun, original, and pure enjoyment.

Baby Mario needs to be carried through the levels by the Yoshis. The Yoshis transform, Mario sometimes becomes a super baby, and because it's not too difficult, you have here a platform game without frustration and with pure joy!

A cute platformer!
Yoshi's Island is the handheld version of the game on the SNES. Just like many Mario games, this is a platformer, but this time with a twist, because the main character in this game is none other than Mario's good friend Yoshi! So, in this game, you play as Yoshi, with Baby Mario on his back. The goal is to get to the other side of the creatively designed levels. The music in the game is cute, just like everything else in this game really! The cartoon-like characters look nice and are creatively designed, the level designs are well thought out, and you can replay the game well. This is because there are special flowers to be found in the levels; 5 in each level. You can collect these to complete the game entirely. They didn't set the difficulty level too high in the game, although it doesn't matter that much.
Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is a good recommendation, whether you're good at platformers or not.

I really consider Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 a classic. It has all the elements of a good Mario game but with a slightly different gameplay because you play as Yoshi. On Yoshi's back, there's a baby Mario and together you conquer the levels. Baby Mario can't really do much except float away in a bubble when you hit an enemy. A timer starts ticking, and within those seconds, you have to catch Mario. This can be a bit frustrating at times, but without Mario, you can't complete the level.

The levels look cheerful and colorful, and there's plenty of challenge in them.

Besides Mario, the perfect and cutest platformer
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, alongside Super Mario Advance 2, is the best platformer you can play on the Game Boy Advance. You have a choice of various colored and incredibly cute Yoshis to embark on adventures through different levels and worlds. On your back, you carry Baby Mario, who you must not lose. You can eat various things in the game and use them as 'eggs' to navigate through the level more easily. Some levels are easy to get through, while others require a more tactical approach. In other words, Yoshi's Island has plenty to offer and is pure fun!

In terms of gameplay and the overall feel of the game, it provides a perfect experience that's hard to put down once you start! Besides the 'regular' Mario platformer, you really ought to give this one a go!

When you enter the boss room of Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, make sure to stand on the edge of the stone platform. Look around and you'll spot the little Piranha Plant. Aim and hit it with an egg. Kamek will then appear, shout 'O MY GOSH', and flee after seeing that the boss was destroyed. Haha! This way you simply skip a whole boss battle! Pretty handy, right!
