A must-have for every driver, racing, and GTA fan
This game has kept me entertained for hours. Initially, I found the 3D graphics disappointing, but after playing for a while, you get used to it and start noticing the better/more beautiful details.

What surprised me back then was that the game is in third-person view, and the cities in the game ('Chicago' and 'Rio de Janeiro') are very large. It's possible to switch vehicles (by getting out of your car and hopping into another one), which is extremely useful during a chase.

The ability to freely roam around the city is what I enjoyed the most. Additionally, there's a storyline and a few challenges. The challenges are well-designed; my favorites are the checkpoint races where you have to beat your own record and the pylon hunt throughout the entire city, where you have to knock down 100 pylons within a time limit.

The storyline missions are also very enjoyable and divided into parts, making it easy to pick up the game and close it when necessary. Moreover, there's a multiplayer option which unfortunately I never got to try...
